Tomer is a Ph.D. student in the field of biodiversity informatics. Since handling species occurrence big-data poses many challenges, his research focuses on integrating data cleaning with data analysis to enhance usability of biodiversity big data. He has a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and an M.Sc. in Ecology from The department of Desert Ecology, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
